Skateboarding is a street sport that became popular in the 1970s. Since then, skateboarders have constantly pushed the boundaries of what is possible on a board. Whether you are a beginner or experienced, here are five original tricks you can try to spice up your practice.

Here are 5 Original Skateboard Tricks to Do (or Improve)

1. The finger flip
The finger flip is a trick that involves spinning the board on one of its axes with the front foot while spinning it around an axis perpendicular to the board with the back hand. To do this, start by jumping and use your back hand to throw the board into the air. As the board spins, place your front foot on the axis of rotation to spin it around. Then, catch the board with your back hand.

2. The boneless
The boneless is an old-school trick that involves jumping on the board while leaving one of your legs outside of it. To do this trick, jump with your back foot on the ground. Then, use your front foot to grab the side of the board and lift it towards you. Next, place your front foot on the board and retrieve your back foot.

3. The no comply
The no comply is a trick that involves jumping on the board and using your back foot to spin it. To do this trick, start by placing your back foot on the rear end of the board and your front foot in the middle. Jump while pivoting your back foot to spin the board 180 degrees. Then, retrieve the board with both feet.

4. The caveman
The caveman is a trick that involves catching the board in the air before putting it on the ground. To do this trick, hold your board by the trucks and throw it into the air. As the board is in the air, jump to catch it. Once you catch the board, put it on the ground and continue to roll.

5. The wallride
The wallride is a trick that involves riding up a wall with your board. To do this trick, find a wall with a smooth surface. Roll towards the wall and do an ollie. When you touch the wall, press your board to propel yourself onto it. Once you reach the top, push your board to come down and continue to roll.
